Accoustic Memories of Landscape Soundings
Mit dem Remix der Landscape Soundings von Bill Fontana (UK) aus dem Jahr 1990 macht der Klangpark 2007 auf die wichtige Rolle experimenteller Radiokunst als Vorläufer der aktuell gehypten Medienformate des Web 2.0 aufmerksam. Das 40-jährige Jubiläum des Radiosenders Ö1 und das 20-jährige Bestehens des ORF-Kunstradios gaben dazu den Anstoß.

Klangpark 2007 features a remix of Landscape Soundings, a 1990 work by Bill Fontana (UK), as a way of calling attention to the important role of experimental radio art as a forerunner of the Web 2.0 media formats that are currently getting so much hype. The 40th anniversary of the ORF – Austrian Broadcasting Company’s radio station Ö1 and the 20th anniversary of ORF Kunstradio provide a very suitable occasion
