Hyper-Rainforest ist eine betreffs ihrer räumlichen Größe wie auch zeitlichen Dauer monumentale Sound-Arbeit. Gebaut ist sie aus Originalaufnahmen, die zwischen 1990 and 2010 in vielen verschiedenen tropischen, subtropischen und kalten Regenwäldern von China bis Neuseeland entstanden sind.
