In an expansive aviary especially constructed for Höhenrausch 2015, a group of nineteen grey parrots and two Amazon parrots have taken up residence for the entire duration of the exhibition. Together with the artists alien productions (Martin Breindl, Norbert Math und Andrea Sodomka) and caretakers they playfully explore mechanical and electronic instruments and sound devices. These have been especially designed for them and are continually modified and further developed. In addition, the artists perform with their feathered partners in a special concert series.
