Festivalpass

The Festivalpass gives you access to all events including evening events*, conferences and panels, entry to the POSTCITY, Ars Electronica Center, LENTOS art museum, as well as to the OÖ Kulturquartier, Höhenrausch and all other Festival venues. WE GUIDE YOU tours are not included in the Festivalpass.

* Admission to the Big Concert Night with a purchased festival or artist pass is only possible in combination with a voucher. The strictly limited vouchers can be purchased – if still available – at the POSTCITY information desk until Sunday 9 September, 2018, 12:00 noon. Vouchers are issued according to the “first come – first served” principle.

One-Day-Pass

The One-Day-Pass gives you access on the respective day to all events including conferences and panels, entry to the POSTCITY, Ars Electronica Center, LENTOS art museum, as well as to the OÖ Kulturquartier, including Höhenrausch as well as all the other festival locations. WE GUIDE YOU tours are not included in the Festivalpass.

*SUN September 9, 2018: The admission to the Big Concert Night is included in the price of this day pass, but access is only guaranteed if you present one of the strictly limited vouchers! These are available at the information desk (POSTCITY 1st floor) upon presentation of your passport – while stocks last!

POSTCITY Light Ticket / u19 CREATE YOUR WORLD

The POSTCITY Light Ticket gives you access on the respective day to all exhibition areas in the POSTCITY, in particular to the ground floor, basement and rooftop. Conferences and evening events are not included. These tickets are also available from September 3 – 9, 2018, at the POSTCITY ticket counter on the 1st floor: September 3 – 5 (1 PM – 7 PM), September 6 – 9 (10 AM – 7:30 PM), September 10 (10 AM – 6 PM).

Symposia POSTCITY and Prix Forums

These tickets are available from September 3 – 5, 2018 (1 PM – 7 PM) at the advance booking desk (POSTCITY, entrance Waldeggstraße 41) and from September, 6 – 10, 2018 (10 AM – 7:30 PM / Monday – 6 PM) at the ticket counter in POSTCITY on the first floor. No online sale!

Concerts

These tickets are available from September 3 – 5, 2018 (1 PM – 7 PM) at the advance booking desk (POSTCITY, entrance Waldeggstraße 41) and from September, 6 – 10, 2018 (10 AM – 7:30 PM / Monday – 6 PM) at the ticket counter in POSTCITY on the first floor. Tickets can be purchased either online or at the ticket counters of POSTCITY.

WE GUIDE YOU

Tickets for guided tours in the POSTCITY can be booked at the WE GUIDE YOU desk from September 6. – 10. (10 AM – 7 PM). Subject to availability. Holders of Festival- and One-Day-Passes pay a special discount price.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to book/buy a ticket online?

No! You can buy your ticket directly at the ticket counter in the POSTCITY on the 1st floor. However, online purchase is recommended for concerts and POSTCITY Light tickets to avoid queuing.

Which ticket is best for me?

• The Festivalpass includes entry to all events and locations from September 6 – 10, 2018.
• The One-Day-Pass includes entry to all events and locations on the respective day.
• All events can be booked singularly.
• The POSTCITY Light Ticket allows admission to all exhibition areas of POSTCITY (especially the theme exhibition in the POSTCITY Bunker).

Where do I get my prepaid ticket?

Festival or day passes booked online can be collected at the PREPAID TICKETS Desk on the 1st floor of POSTCITY upon presentation of your eventbrite confirmation e-mail and ID, as well as colleague tickets and group passes. Online tickets for We Guide You guided tours, concerts and the POSTCITY Light Ticket no longer need to be redeemed. With these you can go directly to the entrance – please pay attention to the readability of the QR code on the PDF ticket.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept payment in cash or via debit card or credit card (VISA and MasterCard only).

Which desk do I go to first?

• If you want to buy or pick up a ticket, please turn to the ticket counter – check opening hours.
• If you need information on the Ars Electronica Festival, the staff at the info desk is happy to help.
• To make a reservation and book a ticket to a WE GUIDE YOU desk. A ticket reservation for tours is necessary in any case.
• Free tickets (lottery, co-workers, sponsors, etc.) can be picked up at the accreditation desk.
• Press members can get their accreditation at the press corner.

Is there a limitation of visitors on events, performances or tickets?

There is no limit for Festivalpasses. For certain events or performances registration might be necessary – please check on our webpage if your desired event or performance needs a registration.

I want to return my ticket or I have lost it!

From September 6, 2018 onwards, we cannot accept Festivalpass returns. One-Day-Passes can be returned until the day prior to their validity. Ars Electronica is not responsible for the loss of your passes. We do not offer refund, substitution or a new ticket for free. Please make sure that your Pass is attached to your clothes securely to prevent losing it.
