well, this is good news. I happen to be a big fan of "my body". I am so
pleased and amazed by the wonderful relationhip my eyes and hands share.
I love the feeling of running fast down a wooded trail, or in the
shooshing waves. Whatever transformation is going on this planet,
consideration for and by the body is critical. I want to feel something
half as amazing as love before I disgard my meat for eternity on the
net. This body is the highest technology available, let's see the
hardware providers match the performance, flexibility and low cost of
this human design. Perhaps then I'll consider an upgrade.
Digital stuff is good, but before we go running from our "limited" human
experience, try really living first. Open up to what it is to be human,
to be alive. Each to unplug our connectedness for a couple of months and
travel to places where it's tough to find a phone. Stop staring at
screens and stare at a few faces, into a few eyes.
How long did it take to "accidently" evolve this human design? Can we leap
millions of years of "natural selection" with intelligence alone? Can a
super being flash into existance like bubbling nothing before the big bang?
Maybe we get to find out, whee!

This is my first time in a discussion group by the way. Please let me know
if I am doing it wrong.
The next day...
Some thoughts on the critque of the critique. I realize something about
this online discussion phenomena. I am reading articulate statements
about important stuff and trying to get into shoes of whoever's talking.
In a full contact conversation, I base alot of my judgment on the validity
of opinions by decidng how much fun the proponent of a particular view is
to be around. If a person is generally upbeat, compassionate and
perceptive, I pay attention to thier ideas. These qualities are difficult
to feel over the wire. I can't see your faces, I can't touch you, so how
can I tell if you are a balanced being, or just another loose
cannon with a sharp and cynical wit? Conflict is kind of interesting but
it's impossible to figure out who's right just by reading a bunch of
disembodied banter. So instead of having a big contest of
intellectual might, how can we collaborate? I have a few ideas...
