A new face in the Computer Animation / Visual Effects Jury is Christophe Héry. Héry majored in architecture and electricity in Paris. While a student in Paris he freelanced among others as a technical director at BUF, a special effects house. He joined Industrial Light & Magic in 1993 as a senior technical director on The Flintstones - the first European to join Industrial Light & Magic. Christophe has been working as a computer graphics supervisor on Spawn and recently comleted working Mission to Mars.
Neu in der Jury für Computeranimation / Visual Effects ist der Franzose Christophe Héry. Héry ist Architekt und Elektroingenieur. Schon während seines Studiums war freiberuflich bei BUF, einer renommierten Pariser Agentur für Special Effects. Seit 1993 arbeitet er bei Industrial Light & Magic – als erster Europäer überhaupt. Der erste Film, den er dort als Technical Director betreute, war The Flintstones. Als Computer Graphics Supervisor ist er u. a. für die Special Effects von Spawn und – sein jüngstes Projekt - Mission to Mars verantwortlich.
