Klaus Obermaier, media artist and composer, has created and directed projects such as the Linzer Klangwolken 1998 'jobOpera' and 2000 'actOpera,' the opening event of Ars Electronica 2000 and the intermedial composition 'the cloned sound' performed by the Kronos Quartet at the opening of Ars Electronica 1993. His performances, interactive installations and concerts have been exhibited and/or performed all over the world. He has collaborated with Ensemble Modern, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Ornette Coleman, John Scofield, Peter Erskine, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie, Tänzern des Nederlands Dans Theaters, Chris Haring and many others.
