A fine reading room would be a boon
to everyone. A nice, sweet, wholesome
place, presided over by a nice sweet
wholesome young lady librarian;
a place cool in summer and warm in
winter; where the ladies and gentlemen,
boys and girls, would drop in for a
hour's perusal of innocent periodicals,
would serve to occupy many a vacant
spell that would otherwise be spent
on something less profitable.
