Hello Kasper!  I, too, had some difficulty with the INFO "WAR", until I
read Geert's statement to the end and realized that this dialogue is
designed to find ways to deal with the dark forces that threaten our own
hassle-free use of the internet.  This enormous flood of junk-information
might look interesting when you are living in outback isolation, (like
reading the annual Sears catalogue was for the pioneers who settled in
Alaska), but for those of us who do not have that privilige and live
within spitting distance of one of the great info-fountains that literally
threaten to impede our sending worthwhile information to down- under (I
have a son in Australia and this is how we keep in touch!), it is time to
look for a way to fight back.  Yes, "war"is an unfortunate term. But it is
a defensive war (call it "fight for survival", "struggle against
domination" or...?) 

But it is probably true that we must hurry up and find a way to fight the
corporate take-over. Or we must find a way to dodge or circumvent it. We do
have to do something!
Just what, for info-peace, would you suggest?

(One of my responses is to submit an animation I created, to PrixArs, that
reflects the WWII Nazi propaganda machine. Now THAT was an informationWAR,
directed specifically towards ourselves at that!)
