It looks like the whole concept of InfoWar is wide open to definition and that
many of us interpret the concept in different terms.
The term may have been used in China, or Russia and elsewhere, but what, in
each case, was actually mean by it. Who is or was at war with whom?
And who was first? If that matters, then I cannot help but bring us all back
a little over one half century, a period that some of us still remember
vividly, where a major world war was fought, won and then lost with propaganda
as much as with anything else. If not for the successful manipulation of what
appeared to be "information", which was consistently very carefully
manipulated mis-information that war might never have gotten off the ground.
Similar examples can be found in most of the subsequent wars. True facts such
as the occurrence of atrocities and the size of losses, or even the reasons
fior the necessity of a war, are systematically withheld. As a matter of fact,
the closer any information is examined anywhere, the greater the number of
lies that are uncovered... but almost always ... 'safely'after the fact!
Perhaps the most important aspect of this whole concept of "information" is
that we must take it all with a grain of salt until we have questioned it
thoroughly and examined it closely!!
The first things to look for in this process, is for the information that was
left out! It's what they don't tell you that can do the greatest harm!
