Kazuhiko Hachiya
Born in Saga, Japan on April 18th in 1966. Lives and works in Tokyo. Graduated from Kyushu Institute of Design, faculty for visual communication design in 1989.
He started his artistic career with "SMTV", a unit for a pirate TV station.
His works: "Inter Dis Communication Machine", "Seeing is believing" and "PostPet"are specific communication tool series.
"Over the Rainbow" --an abstract CG production machine using the swings-- and "Air Board" series,-- hover skateboards with a jet engine--, are the tools to against the gravity.
These works are based on the technology and usually I create inventive devices.
"PostPet", a very popular e-mail software and he is a Representative Director for "PetWORKs Co.", which deals with Software development and direction for all works of PostPet.
