Justin Manor
Justin is a Boston based designer who spends his days building commissioned custom installations for museums. At night he changes hats and performs in the electro-video band SOSOlimited. His waking life is very exciting, which offsets the insipid nature of his dreams, which revolve around housework. Last summer Manor was an artist in residence at the Ars Electronic FutureLab in Linz Austria, where he built and exhibited two installations and performed in several Audio-Visual concerts. Justin received his masters degree from the MIT Media Lab where he was part of the Aesthetics and Computation Group. He studied under John Maeda and his research focused on realtime video manipulation and gestural control of Media. He has exhibited work in Ars Electronica, ICA London, Museum of Sex NYC, Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago, and The Museum of the Moving Image.
