Elisabeth Zimmermann

1973, Vienna. Lives in Vienna. She has studied culture and mediamanagement at the ICCM (International Center for Culture and Mediamanagement) in Salzburg. She has been working with Kunstradio and the non-profit association TRANSIT, which facilitated many important radio-art projects, since 1991 and was involved in the organisation and coordination of many major radio-art projects, symposia, sound-installations, publications and international telematic art projects such as Horizontal Radio, 1995, Rivers&Bridges, 1996, Recycling the Future, 1997, Immersive Sound 1998, Sound Drifting 1999 and gateways, 2000. In 1998 she took over as the producer of Kunstradio. Since 1999 she is part of the steering committee of the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) Ars Acustica working group.
