	Get in Touch ist eine Ausstellung an der Schnittstelle von Mensch und Maschine. Kommunikation mit und durch digitale Technologie als Designaufgabe. Im Zentrum stehen die Tangible Bits von Hiroshi Ishii. Sie geben digitalen Informationen körperliche Formen. Bits werden direkt manipulier- und wahrnehmbar. Ziel ist es, die Grenzen zwischen dem Physischen und dem Digitalen zu verwischen und nahtlose Schnittstellen zwischen Menschen, Bits und Atomen zu schaffen. Die Ausstellung macht Arbeiten aus mehreren Forschungsjahren von Prof. Hiroshi Ishii und seiner Tangible Media Group am Massachusetts Institute of Technology zum ersten Mal einer breiten Öffentlichkeit in Europa zugänglich.
	Get in Touch is an exhibition at the interface of man and machine. Communication with and by means of digital technology as a design task. The centerpiece is Tangible Bits by Hiroshi Ishii. Tangible Bits give physical form to digital information, making bits directly manipulable and perceptible. The goal is to blur the boundary between physical and digital, realizing seamless interface between the people, bits, and atoms. The exhibition includes several years of work by Prof. Hiroshi Ishii and his Tangible Media Group from the Media Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and presents it to a wide audience in Europe for the first time.
