With a total of 6,500 m2 of space, the new Ars Electronica Center will be approximately twice as large as the old facility. The new facility’s design is the work of Vienna’s Treusch architecture. Construction will cost 29.6 million euros. Completion is set for the end of 2008, just in time for the kickoff of the Capital of Culture year.
