Sensory Circus
Time’s Up (A)

The dramaturgy of the “Sensory Circus” installation is oriented to the creation of a spatial situation that can be reconfigured through active physical involvement on the part of the audience. Custom-designed interfaces enable any visitor to create and manipulate an audiovisual environment, whereby the installation reacts in real time to audience activity. Through their corporeal participation, viewers become protagonists. Support is also provided for interventions in computeranimated worlds of play, reconfigurations of acoustic and visual landscapes, shifts in lighting and temperature conditions, and deviations from norms with respect to interface function or the rules of play.

Supported by the City of Linz, Province of Upper Austria, BKA .Kunst, Festo, Baumann/Glas/1886 GmbH, Silverserver, Cycling74, Viertbauer-Zauner GmbH, servus.at, Kunstuniversität Linz, Sommertheater Schwanenstadt, Culture2000 programme of the Eurpoean Union.
