In contrast to established art forms like painting, architecture and sculpture, software art, the art of the Computer Age, places completely novel demands on the venue exhibiting it. Steve Sacks met this challenge by founding bitforms gallery to publicly present the works of software artists and to establish a place for this art form on the art market.
