CyberArts 2005 Intimate Transactions Keith Armstrong – The Transmute Collective (AU)
A so-called “bodyshelf” becomes the interface for sensory experiences taking place between two people at two separate locations. A tiny device strapped to the user's belly transmits vibrations that are controlled by the movements of the other person. Gentle motion of the “bodyshelf” also triggers changes to a projected virtual world of images, sounds and tactile feedback.
