An evening completely dedicated to the artists themselves—the grand opening ceremony of Ars Electronica 2005 segues into the presentation of the Golden Nicas to this year’s Prix Ars Electronica prizewinners. In addition to artworks and projects by competition honorees, the evening's program will feature the artistry of Mercan Dede—Secret Tribe, Dennis Russell Davies & Maki Namekawa and Zachary Lieberman.
