Ars Electronica Center Exhibition Opening 2003 James Patten, Ben Recht (USA)
Software as an instrument. Audiopad tracks the position of the objects on a surface and translates these readings into control commands for music software. The surface thus becomes a tactile programming environment in which music can be composed and performed in real time.
