Make it Simple EMI - Experimental Music Instruments David Cuartielles (ES), Koray Tahiroglu (TR), Enrique Tomás (ES)
EMI is an instrument in which extraordinary interfaces are used to carry out experiments with electronic sounds. When a player touches one of the strings, this activates the sensor of a condenser that registers changes in the electrical current’s strength. This device then sends a signal to a current-based oscillator that transforms motions into sounds. EMI also offers visitors — even those with no musical background — the opportunity to play a musical instrument. It’s a playful way to learn to play!
