dun.AV Michael Aschauer (AT)
Dun.AV, the Danube Panorama Project, is an experimental approach to photographic cartography of the Danube. It’s objective is to produce a full panorama of the navigable portion of the river by digitally slit-scanning both of its banks, and then to generate online as well as print versions of the results-a comprehensive panorama of the Danube and a unique “cross-section” of Europe.
dun.AV was awarded an Honorary Mention in the 2006 Prix Ars Electronica’s Net Vision category.
