Going to the Country - St Florian Eine Landpartie auf der Suche nach Simplicity Visually Deconstructing Code - Ben Fry (US)
An experimental series on the form of codes, and a new way of looking at text, programming language and software structures—modifications in the code structure of projects are visualized, and system background features and elements associated with the use of programs, flows of data, and the changes they undergo in networks are made visible. Each of these experiments begins with the question: “How can this aspect of code be understood visually?” As singletons, they are simplistic ideas, but as a collection, they begin to provide a visual perspective on how code works and behaves, introducing a mental model for code that is more organic than common tools of depiction like text, tables, and graphs.
