Ars Electronica 2003 Campus Teleklettergarten Gruppe FOK (CH)
An oversized computer keyboard is set up as a Kletterwand (a climbing wall like the ones alpinists use to train for a vertical ascent) on the façade of the University of Art in Linz. The key combinations of program commands have to be climbed and triggered by touch. Experts from two fields—programming and climbing—collaborate. The duration of the climb up the façade introduces a time delay into the otherwise instantaneous and invisible process of programming.
