Instant Places

Instant Places is populated by “predators” and their “prey”—falcons and mice—who communicate with one another on the Internet. The evaluation of their sense impressions takes place via message transmission in real time. A network links up dispersed data collection points; the creatures can move among the computers connected up to the network. Changes in the network intervene in their process of coexistence.
