Heimo Ranzenbacher, Ars Electronica Futurelab (A)

The relationship between two places is mediated by the make-up of a system of interaction—the “third place.” If the silhouettes of participants at the two separate locations overlap, the surfaces of the bodies become visible in this area. If they match, then this opens up a channel of communication between the two places.

This work was developed in conjunction with the Judenburg project “Liquid Music–The 3rd Place" for Graz 2003–Cultural Capital of Europe and produced at the Ars Electronica Futurelab.
