Talmud Project

Talmud Project displays excerpts from the Talmud and accompanying commentaries, as well as additional links to an essay by the modern French philosopher Emmanuel Levinas, a text that is itself an extended commentary on selected passages from the Talmud. The artists create sublime typographic spaces, in which written language impresses its vastness upon the senses as well as upon the intellect.
