Unter unseren Füßen
Barbara Wallner, Nina Streng
Prix Ars Electronica 2007 Honorary Mention „u19 – freestyle computing“

There are more creatures bustling about in two handfuls of earth than there are human beings on our planet. The boys and girls from the Hauptschule 3 in Spittal / Drau took a closer look at a part of our environment – the soil under our feet – and created a homepage with a content management system. The site contains lots of topics and activities for participation. Under the motto “Rocking Worm’s Web Tour”, creative and informative material is presented by students for students: “Rocking Worm” invites visitors to take a stroll through its world. Unter unseren Füßen (“Under Our Feet”) is a website for participation: with songs about earthworms, dominos, a memory puzzle, coloring pages, mazes, a riddle in English, a soil diploma, an audio quiz (“Snail on a Razorblade”), Daddy Long-Legs Rock, Snail Ballad, and much more.
