Prix Ars Electronica 2007 Honorary Mention "Digital Communities"
dropping knowledge is a non-profit initiative founded by Cindy Gantz, Jackie Wallace and Ralf Schmerberg. Hans Uszkoreit, the scientific director of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), joined the initiative shortly afterwards. Dropping knowledge operates as an international non-governmental organization with a strong stakeholder perspective. Dropping knowledge’s founding partner is the Allianz Group. Its founding supporters are the Mark & Sharon Bloome Fund and the Wallace Global Fund.
