Prix Ars Electronica 2007 Honorary Mention “Digital Communities”
The OScar Project, founded by Markus Merz (DE), started in 1999 with a three-page manifesto. It received a great deal of appreciation from within the German automotive hobbyist community. A restart at international level was made in 2005. The core team consists of five people with a technical background and automotive knowledge. Heavy users: about 200 people with a strong technical background.
