Se Mi Sei Vicino
The human body as interface, installation visitors as potential performers; on a floor equipped with sensors, there stands a man who functions as an antenna. When visitors touch the performer, they trigger real-time 3D graphics in the form of algorithmic organisms on a large-scale projection screen. This simultaneously generates an audio surrounding that is controlled by the participants’ electromagnetic activities. Se Mi Sei Vicino (when you’re near to me) completely blurs the distinction between active performer and passive viewer.
