Nothing happens
In this telematic performance, Internet users work together via mouse click to make a series of objects tip over. A cardboard box, a glass full of water and a wooden chair are the protagonists of the three scenes. Analog mechanisms such as a gearwheel are activated via mouse click. Approximately a thousand of these minimal movements within a timeframe of several days to a week cause the objects to tip over. Visitors to the “Nothing Happens” website can contribute their input to these sequences and simultaneously observe them as a live stream. When one of the sequences is concluded, it will be posted to the website as a stop-motion animation.
