Unreflective Mirror
Installation visitors wearing polarized filter glasses look into a mirror that is “false” in every respect. In it, they see only their glasses but not themselves. The feeling of losing oneself or of possessing a new, artificial shadow-self is intensified by a monitor in the false mirror that displays images of the visitor filmed by a surveillance camera. Thus, in the false mirror, the observer perceives himself only in the monitor. His body gets lost in the mirror.
