CROWD ENESS (AU)
A different sort of surveillance device: eyes floating in space stare curiously at installation visitors. When the visitor moves, the eyes follow him. If no one is present, they close as if they were asleep. Through the use of projections, real-time 3D computer animation, and a video camera to record visitors’ motions, “Crowd” simulates natural eye movements and mechanisms of visual perception.
