Second City Installationen Tree Aram Bartholl (DE)
In Second Life, three-dimensional objects are replicated in simplified form. While a user is online, the graphic files are uploaded sequentially, which makes the objects’“sub-constructions” visible. Tree replicates several trees in various stages of loading. Semi-transparent surfaces representing the gaps among the leaves and branches get across the simplified and abstracted form of these trees from the virtual world that are set in a real, physical space.
