Open Days at the Ars Electronica Center
January 2 to 4, 2009
The approximately 1,000-m2 Main Gallery is the core of the new Ars Electronica Center. This exhibition space’s floor is about 1½ meters below groundwater level, which presented a major construction challenge. The eastern end of the Main Gallery segues into the labs, testing facilities and workshops of the Ars Electronica Futurelab, whose staffers now enjoy ideal working conditions.
