Eggy Boy
Yoichiro Kawaguchi (JP)
Open Days at the Ars Electronica Center, January 2 to 4, 2009

“Eggy Boy” is the prototype for the outer surface of the child-friendly “Eggy Robot” that responds emotionally to its surroundings—it begins to tremble when someone approaches it. Both 4D-Fish and Eggy Boy give the impression of being harmless and vulnerable. One has the feeling of interacting with primal forms of life.
