Haltadefinizione (IT)
Deep Space Application
Open Days at the Ars Electronica Center, January 2 to 4, 2009

The digital replication of “The Last Supper”, the famous mural painting by Leonardo da Vinci, possesses 16.118.035.591 pixels and 1677 single images! Visitors at Deep Space are allowed to immerse in fascinating details that even are not visible by viewing the original artwork at Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milano: the artistic practices of da Vinci, the inexorable dissolution of the material and tiny hidden elements.
