Learnstation
Learnstation – Learning and teaching with computers
In the day-to-day reality of contemporary classroom instruction, the computer either has a very limited presence or it occupies the center of attention in a dedicated computer laboratory. Learnstation takes up the middle ground between these two extremes, and also challenges the prejudice that the computer can be employed for instructional purposes only in the fields of mathematics and the natural sciences. The Learnstation proves that it has a place in the media repertoire in virtually all subjects, and can enrich and enliven the instruction. State-of-the-art learning and teaching software covering a broad spectrum of subjects are available, and the programs have been designed to be equally suitable for instruction in schools or further education at home.
