Prix Ars Electronica 2007 “Interactive Art. Honorary Mention.”
Gabriel Barcia-Colombo (US) makes interactive video installations, animation, and musical typewriters. He also does animation for MTV and is signed as a music video director for Piranha Pictures. In his spare time he enjoys crashing cars, robbing banks and reading Jane Austen. His film Dada (A Pseudomentary) won the March Slamdance Anarchy Film Festival and several of his short video pieces have been screened everywhere from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles to abandoned seaport warehouses in Brooklyn.
