Bernie Lubell (US)
Prix Ars Electronica 2007 “Interactive Art. Distinction.”

Bernie Lubell (US). His interactive installations have evolved from studying social psychology (MA, University of Wisconsin, BA, Columbia College) and engineering (Carnegie Tech). As participants play with his whimsical wood machines, they become actors in a theater of their own imagining. Since the early 1980s his installations have been shown widely in the San Francisco Bay Area, in Los Angeles and Ireland.
