Prix Ars Electronica 2007 MEDIA.ART.RESEARCH AWARD

Florian Cramer (DE/NL), born in 1969, studied Comparative Literature and Art History in Berlin, Constance and Amherst/Massachusetts; from 1999-2004, he was a junior faculty member at the Peter Szondi Institute for Comparative Literature at the Freie Universtität Berlin; since 2006, he has been course director of the master of arts program in Media Design at the Piet Zwart Institute, Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He has published on experimental and computer-based literature and arts as well as on Internet culture.
