Muster Machen Mutig Projekt m3
Schülerhort Wilten
Honorary Mention Prix Ars Electronica 2008 „u19-freestyle computing“

This project’s point of departure is the fact that decisions such as those involving urban planning are often made without consulting children. Now, “The m3 Project” (Muster Machen Mutig, Patterns Make You Courageous) gives city kids the opportunity to call attention to themselves and their needs via art and architecture. Here, digital distortion of reality opens up new possibilities. The project’s aims include fostering creativity and aesthetic skills (graphic design, arts & crafts), teaching three-dimensional thinking, and developing abilities to conceptualize our constructed environment.
