Ars Electronica 2009
The very best of Ars Electronica 1979 - actual
OF Lab
curated by Zachary Lieberman (US) & Theodore Watson (UK/NL)

On the Ground Floor of the openFrameworks Lab, festivalgoers submit their ideas for works of art. On the 1st Upper Level of the “cage,” artists encode these submissions and endow them with physical forms—they produce something. All activities in the OF Lab including all steps in the production process can be observed via surveillance cameras. Completed projects will be on display on the Ground Floor; the exhibits will be rotated in a half-day rhythm.

The following people join the openFrameworks Lab in Linz: Mehmet Akten (UK/TR), Lia (AT), Chris Sugrue (US), Arturo Castro (ES), Kyle McDonald (US), Dan Paluska (US), Damian Stewart (NZ), Todd Vanderlin (US), Taeyoon Choi (KOR), Tine Papendick (DE), Travis Kirton & Carl-Johan Rosen / Ars Electronica Futurelab, Zachary Lieberman (US), Theo Watson (UK/NL).

openFrameworks was produced with support from Eyebeam Art and Technology Center, New York, and Hangar Centre de producció d’Arts Visuals, Barcelona.
