Hybrid Playground
Lalalab – Clara Boj and Diego Díaz in collaboration with Martin Nadal (ES)

Hybrid Playground reflects upon the fact that all kids have video games and brings those to a playground, transforming it into a collaborative game. By attaching a set of networked sensors to the playground devices, we are able to get the information of childs game and send this info to a server running the game engine. Players carry a bracelet augmented with an RFID tag and a PDA with connectivity to the server. It will report back information about which is the next goal and the status in achieving it.
