Roman Verostko (USA)

A discussion of various aspects of the festival theme: how can the dominance of digital codes be reconciled with self-confident individuality? What changes are the state, society and art undergoing? A live broadcast on Bayern 4 Klassik.
One of four presentations featuring musical impressions along the Danube from venues ranging from Budapest to Donaueschingen, the program in downtown Linz calls for an assessment of the current state of electronic music between its history and digital rebellion.

With: Lydia Hartl (scholar in the field of media studies, cultural affairs advisor to the City of Munich, Germany), Walter Kroy (physicist and futurologist, Ludwig-Bölkow-Stiftung), Gerfried Stocker (director Ars Electronica Center)
Moderation: Christine Lemke Matwey (Der Tagesspiegel, Berlin), Christian Scheib (Ö1)
Music: AGF, Jonathan Norton
