Preisverleihung des >digital sparks<
Gerfried Stocker (A)

The best recent work by students in the fields of media art, design and informatics as well as media staging and mediating the encounter with media are singled out for recognition at the awards ceremony concluding the >digital sparks< competition, and are showcased during the evening’s festivities featuring prominent figures in media art and culture. All prizewinning works from 2001 to 2003 will also be shown on the Info-Jukebox in the Ars Electronica Center throughout the Festival. The Info-Jukebox is a digital kiosk system for displaying videos; it enables the user to make selections and control playback by simply pointing a finger and thus without having to touch the screen.
