The babysitter, a monitor-like appliance, is set up to take care of a baby when there is nobody at home. The ending reveals an intriguing riddle: when technology is both our slave and master, what will the world be like? Should we feel entitled to manipulate it, or are we the ones being manipulated by this phenomenon?
