The SMS-Notifier is a program that permanently checks a web site (e.g. futurezone.orf.at) for new articles and sends the headlines via SMS to all registered users, whenever something comes in. The system consists of two programs. One program (CGI) is responsible for registering users. It enables new users to register via a web interface (see example page ). The actual message program checks the news site at regular intervals for new articles and then sends these to all the registered users. A working message system can be reached at the URL .
