Partners for Innovatíon
“Partners for Innovation” was the theme of a reception recently held by Linz’ Johannes Kepler University and the Linz Fund for Institutions of Higher Learning for their associates and benefactors in the private sector. During this informative evening held on October 30, 2002 in the Brucknerhaus, the university showcased some of its wide array of projects. One of the featured presentations was the ARSBOX developed in cooperation with the University’s Department of Business Computing (Chair for Software Engineering, Prof. Gustav Pomberger). This occasion was also the first time that virtual reality applications were presented on a large-screen format to an audience of this size (600 attendees). The infrastructure was also utilized to present the university’s other projects.
